Randy Pausch.....
I need not intriduce this man to anyone....I hope every one of you knows him, perhaps much better than I do.
Glamour, Wealth, Achievements, Character, skills, wisdom......there are a myriad of reasons that makes a person famous. Randy had all these, but he became famous for a slightly different reason -- "DEATH"
When Randy came to know that he is a victim of pancreatic cancer and will live only for a few more months, he prepared what is famous in the blogosphere as "Last Lecture" which has inspired more than 6 million people online!!
I too had watched that before, but without knowing that he is a victim of pancreatic cancer and will live only a few more months!! Lacking this critical background information, I just felt "GOOD" about the presentation.
Randy died on July 25th. When I came to know that he was the person who gave "last lecture", I viewed it again on the net, but in an entirely different light!!! And at the second time, I felt "last lecture" was super awesome!! I have no words to explain how I felt then.
Randy's death was indeed his victory over death. What a blessed man he is.
