Seoul is where the Soul is!

First of all, for those who care, I reached Seoul hale and hearty. While landing again at Incheon International Airport, all the old memories resurfaced to the top layer of my mind. For what I don't know, but I felt like crying! Since I am yet to learn how to cry in Korean, I controlled my feelings! Outside the airport, one man was waiting for me holding a plackrd and Incheon airport has seen my name on it for yet another time. An invigorating smile made by our company representative welcomed me to Korea again! He has taken my luggage and led me to the company car ( and man, it was a Mercedes Benz car!!). After one hour of drive from the airport, I found myself in my new Apartmet, located in a sexy location of Seoul city. After five minutes, two girls from the HR department came to my home and assured everything is in order.

Evening, my friend came to my room and we went for some shopping. I bought a bed (Kingsize as usual!), microwave oven, vacuum cleaner a TV (everything else is already there) and we went to "Lotteria" for dinner

We ordered chicknen burger sets and was waiting for the dish to get ready when this Korean lady approached us. She asked in Korean mixed English:

"Are you from indo(India)?"
Me: "yes, I am"
She: "Wow!!Indo is a great country and Indians are really nice people"
"Hearty Welcome to Korea!!"

She gave us two icecreams and then went away!

It is not that I am so keen to get praised by somebody -- and I know what she told me about India & Indians is.....******!What mattered to me was the attitude exhibited by her. And that was the moment when I felt I have made the right decision to come back here!

After all, for me Seoul is where the Soul is!!
